Poland House Price Index September 2007

Here's the relevant part of the monthly annual rate of change on the house price index that goes accompanies the EU monthly harmonised CPI. The rate of increase is brisk, but it is hardly inordinately high.

  1. Could I enquire as to where you got that data? Poland doesn't seem to actually have any indicies available...

  2. Hi,

"Could I enquire as to where you got that data? Poland doesn't seem to actually have any indicies available..."

Yes, of course, it comes from Eurostat, but as I ssay in the post it isn't really a housing index, it is simply one of the components in the harmonised monthly consumer price index.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but surprisingly we don't have any adequate europe wide source of house price data. The ECB are collecting data, but they only actually publish an average, which is less than useless.
